Task Sequence Steps – Configuration Manager

The next activity sequence steps may be added to a Configuration Manager process sequence. For details about editing an activity sequence, see Edit a task sequence. Name: The duty sequence editor requires that you just specify a short title to describe this step. While you add a new step, the duty sequence editor units the title to the port by default. The Name size cannot exceed 50 characters.

Description: Optionally, specify extra detailed details about this step. The description length cannot exceed 256 characters. The rest of this text describes the opposite settings on the Properties tab for every task sequence step. Disable this step: The task sequence skips this step when it runs on a computer. The icon for this step is grayed out in the duty-sequence editor.
